Start Strong with Our Foundation Stage!
A School-Ready Environment, Just Like Primary School

Foundation Stage 1&2
At British Rose Nursery, we offer a KHDA-approved Foundation Stage program for 3- and 4-year-olds, aligned with the UK Early Years Framework. In our nurturing, small-class environment, children benefit from longer hours—ideal for busy families—while building strong foundations for their transition into primary school.

British Rose Prep for Primary

Prep for Primary
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach® and led by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, our Foundation Stage program spans two years, focusing on school readiness and making the early years truly special.
We are committed to preparing children for success, both academically and socially, ensuring they are prepared for the exciting journey ahead.

Providing outstanding education and care the BRN way
What School Readiness Means at British Rose Nursery
Along with academics, children are supported to develop a wide range of other skills to support their transition to primary school

Wellbeing

At BRN, we create a nurturing environment where children build a strong sense of belonging. Through positive relationships and experiences, they develop resilience, confidence, and a positive outlook on learning.
Love of Learning

We nurture a genuine love for learning by fostering confidence, curiosity, and resilience. Children develop the mindset to embrace new challenges, stay persistent, and approach every experience with enthusiasm.
Self Regulation
Children at BRN learn how to manage their emotions and actions, building patience and persistence. These skills not only strengthen relationships but also lay the foundation for cognitive growth and problem-solving abilities.

Communication
Strong communication skills are key to school readiness. We encourage children to express themselves, listen attentively, follow instructions, and engage in meaningful conversations—both verbal and nonverbal.
Autonomy
Children at BRN gain confidence in managing their own self-care, from dressing to personal hygiene. They also develop initiative, eagerly seeking answers and asking questions to explore the world around them.

Cognitive Skills
We spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking through hands-on learning. Children engage in early literacy and numeracy experiences, developing focus and the skills they need to explore and grow.
